SEC Newgate is an Italian-headquartered global advisory network that pulled together a constellation of mid-sized independent firms across markets, including a presence in the Gulf established through its 2021 acquisition of a 70% stake in Twister Middle East. The Dubai shop, now operating as SEC Newgate Middle East under founding partner and CEO Elena Gramatica, operates at the nexus of business, politics, communities and media.

The regional structure expanded with a Riyadh office under Sabrina Larese, which positions the firm to chase Saudi public affairs and corporate mandates alongside its Dubai book. The global SEC Newgate group ranks in the top thirty PR networks worldwide by revenue, with over 1,200 professionals across more than fifty offices — useful when a client needs joined-up advisory across Europe, the UK and the Middle East, less recognized as a standalone Gulf brand.

The proposition is the federation. SEC Newgate gives a mid-sized regional shop access to a partner network across Europe and beyond, which matters for cross-border financial and corporate mandates where a single London or New York affiliate is not enough. For pure regional work, the firm competes with the wider independent bench in Dubai and the smaller specialist shops.
